Les chest packs et hip packs pour la pêche à la mouche

Simms, Daiwa, Fishpond, etc. chest packs.

Chest packs and hip packs (HPA, Daiwa, Fishpond, Simms, etc.) are modular or fixed bags worn on the chest or as a shoulder bag. Their positioning on the body and the layout of the openings and attachment points make it easy to access your gear.

Very popular among fly and lure anglers who fish from the bank and while wading, these bags provide a real time-saving advantage, as everything is within easy reach — your landing net, flies, lures, etc. Some models are 100% waterproof, a real bonus in case of rain or an unexpected slip!

Which chest pack / hip pack to choose?

Waterproofing

A chest pack or hip pack costs more when it is 100% waterproof, but this allows you to fish in all weather and protects your belongings in the event of a slip. Fully waterproof models generally offer fewer storage and organisation options.

Modularity and options

The more versatile a bag is and the more storage options it offers, the better you can adapt it to your fishing style and optimise your sessions.

Storage volume

The more space there is, the more you put in it, but the heavier it becomes to carry!

If you have any questions about the products, about rods and reels, about compatibility with your tackle, whether a landing net can be attached, etc., do not hesitate to contact us by phone, via the website, or by dropping in directly at the Ardent Fly Fishing shop.
