Which reel to choose for two-handed fishing?

Spool capacity

Two-handed reels must accommodate larger diameter fly lines than standard reels. Their capacity must therefore be appropriate.

Drag quality

As with all fly fishing, a good drag is essential. The line must be released progressively and smoothly to avoid breakages and hook losses. Furthermore, as large specimens may be targeted, it must also be powerful.

Weight

The weight should be taken into account in order to achieve a well-balanced rod.
