Which spinning rod to choose?

Lure weight

To choose your rod well, you must first take into account the weight of the lures you are going to cast. The maximum weight must not exceed the casting range specified for the rod.

Rod length

Then, when it comes to length, a boat rod will tend to be shorter (up to around 2.30m) so as to stay within the sonar beam, but also because, unlike a rod for fishing far from the shore which will tend to be longer (from 2.40-50m), you will have less need to go around obstacles, cast into the wind, etc.
