Usage tips

Choose a reel suited to the line weight (#) intended for your rod. Favour a smooth drag and corrosion-resistant materials, especially if you fish in saltwater. If you nymph fish with monofilament, opt for a closed-face reel. The right balance with the rod optimises casting and reduces fatigue.
