• The leader should be sturdy, with a tippet of 20 to 25/100, to withstand the power of carp — and don't forget the backing, because depending on the size of the fish, you are very likely to need it!
• You can also opt for a pack where everything is already ready and all you have to do is head to the water's edge.
• A large landing net and a reception mat.
