Thanks to its 3XL shank and robustness, it allows for very full dressings without making the fly excessively heavy, while remaining a classic, reliable, and easy-to-find pattern. It is available in sizes from 4 to over 20, making it a versatile tool for a wide range of fishing conditions.

Specifications:

• Curved shank, ultra-long length (3XL), with a gradual curve ("insect bend" / "organic bend").
• Straight eye, which makes it easy to tie nymphs and large dry flies.
• Medium wire, bronze, forged, fairly robust while remaining sharp.
• Semi-dropped point, which promotes good penetration and better fish retention.

Use:

• Nymph: The Tiemco 200R is particularly well suited for nymphs. Its shape provides good action in the current while keeping the fly near the bottom.
• Light streamers: This hook is also used for light streamers, particularly for smaller fish or situations where discretion is essential.
• Wet flies and light dry flies: Its curve allows for a good presentation in more subtle patterns, especially for wet flies imitating aquatic insects in motion. Its shape allows for beautiful imitations of mayfly emergers.
