    Description

Whiting Farms saddles are renowned in the fly fishing world for their exceptional quality.
These are rooster feathers specifically selected and raised to create artificial flies.
The feathers come from roosters raised by Whiting Farms, a company specializing in the production of feathers for fly tying. These roosters are raised and selected to produce long, fine and uniform feathers.
Saddles (feathers taken from the back of the rooster) offer extremely long feathers, sometimes reaching up to 30 cm.
These feathers are fine, which allows for regular wraps and perfect flies.
A single saddle can be used to create several dozen, or even hundreds, of flies.
Dry flies: Thanks to their fineness and natural buoyancy, they are ideal for creating flies that float on the water.
Their attention to detail ensures feathers perfectly suited to the needs of fly fishers.
    Saddle feathers only cover 2 or 3 hook sizes (14 - 16 - 18).
The Pro grade is the entry-level grade from WHITING FARMS, the grade above is the Bronze grade, then Silver.
The grade does not determine the quality of the feather, but rather the number of flies you can tie.
