The braided backing RIO Dacron® 20 lb (9.1 kg) offers an excellent compromise between a small diameter and the ability to easily create loops via blind splice (blind splice). Easier to knot than some very fine backings with extremely tight braids, it also allows splices to be made quickly and simply.
