The braided backing RIO Dacron® 30 lb offers an excellent compromise between finesse and ease of use. Its small diameter increases your reel capacity, while its braided construction makes it easy to create loops via blind splice (Blind Splice).
More supple and easier to handle than some ultra-fine backings with very tight braids, it knots easily and allows quick, strong, and reliable splices to be made.
