Description
A hard-nylon running line for extra-long casts
Its oval hard-nylon cross-section shoots exceptionally well to maximize casting distance while significantly reducing line coils and tangles.
Running line size guide
- 25 lb: 200–450 grain shooting heads
- 35 lb: 450–575 grain shooting heads
- 44 lb: 575–675 grain shooting heads
- 50 lb: shooting heads of 675 grains and up
The Slick Shooter is an oval-profile running line designed to shoot smoothly and make long-distance casting easier. Unlike a traditional round running line, its flattened cross-section has two distinct dimensions: thickness and width.
For example, on the 25 lb model, the 0.30 × 0.56 mm dimensions indicate a thickness of 0.30 mm and a width of 0.56 mm. This oval profile keeps the line thin while providing greater width, a useful feature for Spey casting and shooting heads.
