The Triangle Taper is ideal for trout and salmon fishing. It features a continuous front taper over a length of 8 to 12 metres depending on the line weight. This design provides a particularly effective casting energy.
The heaviest part of the line carries the lighter part, ensuring a progressive and controlled unrolling. This weight distribution also allows for delicate presentations, as the load is not situated directly on the fly.
The Triangle Taper is also recognised as one of the best lines for roll casting, allowing distances of up to 18 metres to be achieved. The combination of a long heavy section with a lighter running line brings its behaviour closer to that of a shooting line.
