Revivex Pro Cleaner

ReviveX Synthetic Fabric Cleaner is the first step in treating garments with ReviveX Durable Waterproofing or ReviveX Waterproofing Soak solutions. It can also be used on non-waterproof items such as down products, gloves, fleeces or softshell jackets.

Caring for technical fabrics is not complicated. It's not rocket science with ReviveX by Gear Aid — it's as simple as washing a pair of socks.

Machine washing

•   Close all zippers and Velcro fasteners.
•   Treat heavy stains by applying a small amount of product directly onto them.
•   Pour the Revivex Pro Cleaner into the detergent drawer or directly into the drum.
•   Run a delicate cycle at 30–40 °C (warm water).
•   Do not use regular detergent, fabric softener, or bleach.

Recommended dosage:

•   1 garment (jacket, pants…): 1 cap (≈ 15 ml).
•   The 250 ml bottle allows approximately 16 jacket washes.

Hand washing

•   Apply the product to heavily soiled areas.
•   Fill a basin with warm water.
•   Add 1 cap (≈ 15 ml) per approximately 6 liters of water.
•   Leave to soak for 5 minutes, then gently scrub.
•   Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.

Drying

•   Follow the instructions on the garment's care label.
•   If not, allow to dry completely in the open air before use or before applying a waterproofing treatment.

REVIVEX Pro Cleaner can be used on its own.

It is first and foremost a technical cleaner. It is used to:

• Remove dirt, oils and detergent residue;
• preserve the breathability of membranes (GORE-TEX®, eVent®, etc.);
• extend the performance of technical garments.

You are not required to use a Revivex waterproofing treatment afterwards. However, if after washing you notice that:

• water no longer beads on the fabric,
• the outer fabric absorbs water ("wet out"),

It is then recommended to apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment, such as REVIVEX Spray Ref 24827, to restore water repellency.
