The MOW Tips from RIO are interchangeable tips used at the end of a Skagit-style shooting head. The term MOW stands for "Multi-Option Weight", as these tips come in different densities and lengths, allowing very precise adjustment of the fly's presentation depth to match the fishing situation.
In a Skagit system, the power of the head alone is not enough to efficiently propel the fly: a tip is necessary to balance the cast and control the depth at which the fly will swim.
MOW Tips fulfill this dual role:
