Description
We therefore designed an innovative tool, capable of significantly reducing fish mortality by eliminating the use of a net and direct handling. Inspired by our base in Ketchum, Idaho, this tool naturally bears the name Ketchum Release.
This method helps preserve the fish's protective mucus and avoids prolonged air exposure. The Ketchum Release facilitates a quick and gentle release, while recovering your fly without damaging it. It also keeps your hands dry, away from the water.
The Ketchum Release is available in three sizes:
- Big Bug: for hook sizes 6 to 10
- Standard: for sizes 12 to 16
- Midge: for sizes 18 to 22
