    Description

The ideal nylon for making your saltwater leaders

    Medium-stiffness nylon
    Excellent knot strength.

RIO's Saltwater Mono is the ideal choice for anglers looking to build their own leaders for tarpon, bonefish, permit, and other saltwater species. This material offers an excellent strength-to-diameter ratio, very good abrasion resistance, low memory, and is extremely easy to knot.

Available from 8 lb to 60 lb, it allows you to make both the main body of the leader and the finer tippet sections of a tapered leader. Each spool contains 50 yards (45.7 m).

A medium-stiffness leader material, very easy to knot, perfectly suited for saltwater fishing.
