Drawing on decades of experience in weaving silk threads, the Pêche à Soie team has rethought and redesigned the profile of this fly leader to ensure precise presentations with no energy loss. Woven with a high-performance nylon thread well known to anglers, Stroft.

Key features

• The woven section (length 1.50 m, 2 m and 3 m) is tapered and ends with a small loop, allowing tippets to be changed as desired according to fishing conditions. The woven section has a very long lifespan.
• Supplied with a 2 m nylon tippet made up of 3 sections. Final tippet in 14/100 for leader no. 1 and 16/100 for leader no. 2. The tippet can be modified as desired according to fishing conditions.
• No memory for very precise presentations.
• Does not twist, and robust thanks to a very tight weave. The woven section must be greased before each fishing session.

Usage tips

To get the best performance from your leader, it is recommended to grease it entirely before each use. Applying the product to a perfectly dry leader allows for better adhesion and optimal effectiveness. This treatment improves floatability, promotes a more natural fly presentation and optimises drift control on the surface. Greasing can be done with the same product used for the maintenance and floatability of dry flies, making it a simple and practical solution at the waterside. Regular maintenance also ensures better longevity of the leader and consistent performance throughout fishing sessions.
