Drawing on decades of experience in silk thread weaving, the Pêche à Soie team has rethought and redesigned the profile of this fly leader to ensure precise, energy-efficient presentations. Woven with a high-performance nylon thread well known to anglers, the Stroft.

Key features

• The braided section (length 1.50 m, 2 m and 3 m) is tapered and ends with a small loop, allowing the tippets to be changed at will depending on fishing conditions. Your braided section has a long lifespan.
• Supplied with a 2 m nylon tippet made up of 3 sections. Final tippet in 14/100 for leader no. 1 and 16/100 for leader no. 2. The tippet can be modified at will depending on fishing conditions.
• No memory for very precise presentations.
• Does not twist, and is sturdy thanks to a very tight weave. The braided section must be greased before each fishing session.

Usage tips

To get the best performance from your leader, it is recommended to grease it fully before each use. Applying the product to a perfectly dry leader ensures better adhesion and optimal effectiveness. This treatment improves buoyancy, promotes a more natural fly presentation, and optimizes surface drift control. Greasing can be done with the same product used for the care and floatation of dry flies, making it a simple and practical solution at the waterside. Regular maintenance also guarantees better leader longevity and consistent performance across fishing sessions.
