The ESN reel was specially designed for tight-line nymphing, with technical features perfectly suited to the demands of this approach. Thought through in every detail, it offers precision, balance and efficiency to optimise every drift.

Built around a very slim, large-diameter arbor, it allows fast line recovery and makes it easier to reel in fish, while reducing the need to hand-guide the fly line. Its waterproof carbon drag system ensures progressive and smooth engagement.

A unique balancing system allows the weight of the reel to be adjusted using interchangeable weights, in order to achieve perfect balance with any nymph rod (or traditional rod). The full frame prevents fine tippets and leaders from getting caught in the reel, an essential advantage for this technique.
