The CleanSweep fly lines from RIO are a range of sinking fly lines designed to effectively explore all water columns during the retrieve. They combine a clear intermediate tip, smoothly connected to a fast-sinking body, followed by a slower-sinking running line.
This unique profile, with progressively varying sink rates, allows the fly line to sweep the depths in a fan shape with each cast: it sinks, rakes through the depths, then gradually rises back toward the surface, covering a wide water column with each retrieve.
