The RIO Powerflex Ultra Shooting Line is an ideal shooting line for anglers using Skagit or Scandi-style casting heads. It features an extremely robust outer coating combined with a moderately stiff Powerflex core that enables incredibly easy casting for ultra-long distances.

Its durability is greatly improved and it guarantees tangle-free performance, cast after cast.
Its ultra-smooth coating floats well on the surface, reducing water resistance and making shooting easier. The very strong welded loops at each end ensure quick and easy rigging, while the front loop is large enough to pass an entire spool of shooting head through, optimizing the speed and efficiency of rigging.
Shooting line weight compatibility:
- 0.64 mm / 25 lb = less than 325 gr
- 0.76 mm / 25 lb = 325 - 575 gr
- 0.89 mm / 30 lb = 575 - 675 gr
- 1.02 mm / 35 lb = 675 gr and above
- 1.14 mm / 50 lb = 675 gr and above
