Grasshopper imitation made from natural materials. The head formed from trimmed deer hair provides excellent buoyancy and allows the fly to be animated. When the fly line is given a sharp pull, the fly dips below the surface and rises back up trapping air. A fly equally effective in fast water and still water, in a dead drift or animated.
