This natural fly line has been specially designed to be used with Tenkara rods to enhance the beauty of this remarkable technique.
- Length 6 m
Made from pure grade 5A silk, it is fitted with a loop on one end. Its main characteristics are delicacy and lightness.
To fully appreciate its performance, it is recommended to use the fly line without greasing it at first. If you choose to grease it, apply the grease only to the terminal section, approximately 20 to 30 cm before the connection with the leader.
Keep in mind that most of the fly line generally remains out of the water, making the application of grease often unnecessary. If you do decide to apply some, do so the evening before your fishing session to give the fly line time to absorb it, then carefully remove any excess that could weigh down the line.
Adjust the length of the fly line according to your rod and your level of experience. Before cutting it, it is advisable to carry out tests by progressively reducing its length in increments of 10 to 15 cm relative to the rod length, until the ideal compromise is achieved.
For the connection, use a double-loop system to connect the fly line to the lillian of your rod.
Use exclusively the grease supplied with the fly line. The use of silicone-based greases is prohibited, as well as all Mucilins. The supplied grease has a neutral pH (7), an NLGI grade 3 and food-grade quality, guaranteeing the absence of pollution.
After each fishing session, dry your fly line by wiping it down or coiling it on a flat surface.
You have just purchased a 100% natural Pêche à Soie fly line, and we thank you for it. Your fly line is pre-treated upon leaving the factory. However, a few hours of use are required before it reaches its full performance.
