Which rod to choose for nymph fishing?
Trout / grayling nymphing in river
Depending on the size of the waterway, the length will vary from 10' to 11' for line weights ranging from #2 to #4 or with direct monofilament. A good starting point would be a 10'6 #2/3 rod for small streams and a 10'9 #3/4 for medium to large rivers.
