Dry your CDC flies without damaging their fibers
It is made from genuine amadou, a fungus renowned for its exceptional ability to absorb moisture while preserving the structure of flies, even the most delicate ones such as those tied with CDC (cul-de-canard) feathers.
The amadou is held between two rigid plates and assembled in the form of a clamp, making it easy to grip the fly and apply gentle pressure to extract the water. This system allows for effective drying without twisting or distorting the fibers.
The LOON amadou patch is lightweight, compact, and attaches easily to a vest or chest pack thanks to its integrated eyelet. It can be used on rivers as well as on stillwaters to quickly restore floatation to a fly after a catch or submersion.
Approximate dimensions: 8 cm x 8 cm. The accessory is reusable as many times as needed and dries quickly in open air.
