The STR no. 8/9 was designed for the delicate fishing of salmon and sea trout that hold in a pool as soon as a "Scandinavian" or "Skagit" type shooting head, or other synthetic fly lines, touch the water.

    Description

    Specifications:

Its great delicacy is due to its unique profile, developed by the Pêche à Soie team. It allows for subtle and discreet presentations, particularly suited to wary fish.
It can also be used for fishing very large trout in big rivers. This fly line is equally suited to single-handed rods in 8/9 as to two-handed rods, such as "switch" or "spey" models, in order to achieve an optimal drift of the fly. Add a 3.60 m predator braided leader and you will have a perfect setup (also available in 3 m and 4.60 m).

    • Length: 36 meters
    • Head length: 10 meters
    • Line weight: 8/9
    • Comes with a 10 g grease pot
    • Pre-seasoned natural fly lines
    • Non-looped fly line

Use exclusively the grease supplied with the fly line. The use of silicone-based greases is prohibited, as are all Mucilins. The supplied grease has a neutral pH (7), an NLGI grade 3, and food-grade quality, guaranteeing the absence of pollution.

After each fishing session, dry your fly line by wiping it down or coiling it on a flat surface.

You have just purchased a 100% natural Pêche à Soie fly line, and we thank you for it. Your fly line is pre-seasoned upon leaving the factory. However, a few hours of use are required before achieving its full performance.

If you have any questions about choosing a rod, a fly line, or about rigging flies and selecting components, do not hesitate to contact us via our website, by phone, or by visiting us in person at our Ardent Fly Fishing store.
