The relatively short head (11 m) concentrates more weight toward the rear, which facilitates turning over heavier flies. The short front taper, combined with a tapered body, also allows large dry flies to be cast with precision and delicacy.
The short rear taper and loaded body allow excellent roll casts, even with heavy rigs, and facilitate distance line turnover.
This line loads a rod as if it were one size above the AFFTA standard, thus offering more power without sacrificing precision.
