Retrieve technique

• This is a lure to use with a jerky straight retrieve, i.e. by making small twitches of the rod tip while reeling in.
• This hard lure is also very effective on the drop, so don't hesitate to pause and let it flutter down.

Colour

As for colour, the starting point is the environment. The clearer it is, the more natural colours you should use; the more opaque it is, the more flashy or dark shades — even black — you should use. In very cold water, a bright yellow colour such as n°32 can really make a difference. This is a starting point that will need to be adjusted day by day.
