The rig

The Pig Shad JR can be used in the classic way mounted on a jig head, such as the BKK Round Elite Classic Bait Keeper, a shallow rig like the CWC Pro Stinger Stainless Steel, a screw-in head like the BFT Flexhead Pike, or a Texas-rigged hook Owner BEAST Hook.

It can also be used as a trailer behind a Miuras Mouse.

The color

When it comes to color, the starting point is the environment. The clearer it is, the more natural tones you should use; the more opaque it is, the more flashy or dark shades — even black — you should reach for. This is a baseline that will need to be adjusted day by day.
