The Tenryu Injection SP 76 M rod has been developed for soft lure fishing, and in particular for scratching or linear retrieves. Its fast action and highly responsive blank give it excellent sensitivity for feeling the lure's movement, bottom contact and of course bite detection. That said, its action during the fight shows a smooth progressive curve where the flexibility of the tip gives way to a significant power reserve from the mid-section onwards, ensuring quality hook-sets and the ability to fight large fish without lacking authority.
