- ORA is a double-hook rig onto which you attach bait (shrimp, strips of squid...) to practice vertical or diagonal fishing from a boat. The particular shape of the lead head offers 3 main advantages. First, its ability to descend quickly through the water column, thus easily reaching the bottom while minimizing the impact of current or drift. The second advantage lies in its ability to slide along the bottom with little risk of snagging and to tip over to free itself from an obstacle, thanks to the articulation connecting the lead to the leader. Finally, this shape appears to attract the curiosity of bottom-dwelling fish, and particularly sparids, more consistently than other lead head profiles. As for the main hook, it is extremely sharp and very strong, and is distinguished by its ability to penetrate the hard mouths of gilthead sea bream and red porgy effectively, while retaining its sharpness over many fishing sessions.
