Tips from our team of enthusiasts

GORE-TEX® care

• Machine wash at 40 °C with a very small amount of liquid detergent, without fabric softener or bleach.
• Air dry at moderate temperature then 20 min in a tumble dryer (delicate heat) to revive the DWR water-repellent treatment.
• If the water no longer beads, reapply a water-repellent treatment, then reactivate with gentle heat.

Temperature management (in cold weather)

Opt for a multi-layer system that will allow you to fish all year round:

• Layer 1: a technical base layer
• Layer 2 (in very cold conditions): a warm down jacket-style layer
• Layer 3: the jacket.
