GORE-TEX® care
- Machine wash at 40°C with a very small amount of liquid detergent, without fabric softener or bleach.
- Dry at moderate temperature then 20 min in the tumble dryer (delicate heat) to reactivate the DWR (durable water repellent) treatment.
- If water no longer beads off, reapply a DWR treatment, then reactivate with gentle heat.
Temperature management (when it's cold)
Opt for a layering system that will allow you to fish all year round:
- Layer #1: a technical base layer
- Layer #2 (in case of extreme cold): a warm puffer-style layer
- Layer #3: the jacket.
