Tips from our team of enthusiasts

GORE-TEX® care

• Machine wash at 40°C with a very small amount of liquid detergent, without fabric softener or bleach.
• Dry at moderate temperature then 20 min in a tumble dryer (delicate setting) to revive the DWR (durable water repellent) treatment.
• If water no longer beads off, reapply a DWR treatment, then reactivate with gentle heat.

Temperature management (when it's cold)

Opt for a layering system that will allow you to fish all year round:

• Layer 1: a technical base layer
• Layer 2 (in extreme cold): a warm insulating layer, puffer jacket style
• Layer 3: the jacket.
