    Description

Penn Conflict XR Inshore spinning rod range

The Penn Conflict XR Inshore rods are designed for light bass and pollack lure fishing and stand out thanks to their Japanese 32T carbon blanks reinforced by X-Wrap technology, offering an extra-fast action and increased sensitivity. Equipped with saltwater-resistant Fuji Alconite K-type guides and Fuji VSS reel seats, these rods ensure durability and comfort. Their small diameter promotes precise casting and excellent responsiveness, ideal for working a variety of light lures. Perfect for sea fishing, these rods are suited for use with soft plastics on the drop, topwater hard lures, light jigs, etc., targeting species such as bass, bonito and pollack, whether from shore or boat.

    Which rod to choose?

    Lure weight

To choose your rod correctly, you must first take into account the weight of the lures you are going to cast. The maximum weight must not exceed the recommended casting range of the rod.

    Rod length

Next, regarding length, a boat rod will tend to be shorter (up to around 2.30 m) in order to stay within the sonar beam, for example, but also because unlike a rod intended for long-range shore fishing which will tend to be longer (from 2.40–2.50 m), you will have fewer obstacles to navigate around, fewer headwinds to cast into, etc.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced angler, a bass, pike or zander fisherman, make your choice and get ready to experience epic fights with supremely powerful adversaries.

If you have any questions about choosing a rod, the rigs appropriate to your fishing area, or the type of line (braid, monofilament, fluorocarbon) to fit on your reel, do not hesitate to contact us via our website, by phone or by visiting us in person at our Ardent Pêche store.
