The Onimaru is a metal blade whose design is based on a special balance developed from research into the behavior of marine predators. Its horizontal swimming posture faithfully mimics the silhouette of a fleeing baitfish, emitting high-frequency vibrations at any retrieval speed without coming loose. The Onimaru features clearly visible lateral lines to quickly attract the attention of predators, and the advantage of its hook mounted on a rolling swivel is to considerably reduce the risk of breakages or hook-offs by limiting twists and preventing the fish from leveraging against the lure during the fight. Its overall design also greatly reduces tangles between the lure hook and the leader.
