    Description

The Illex Freddy 130 CW Noisy

The Illex Freddy 130 CatWalk Noisy is a rattling jointed swimbait, and more specifically a glidebait. On a straight retrieve it has an ultra-seductive "S" swimming action. If you twitch it or work it in Stop & Go, it will produce lateral darts of varying length. It is the perfect lure for prospecting shallow or deeper zones with the addition of an additional weight on the belly swivel. This 13cm size is ideal for smaller waters or when predators are targeting small prey.

    Presentation

    • On a straight retrieve, simply cast, reel in, and the lure will swim on its own thanks to its joint.
    • On Stop & Go, pause your retrieve and the lure will dart sideways. Deadly for triggering an attack from a following fish.
    • With twitches, by punctuating your retrieve with sharp rod-tip movements, the Freddy 130 CW Noisy will produce lateral darts like a jerkbait. For longer darts, leave a little slack in your line.

    Color

As for color, the starting point will be the conditions. The clearer the water, the more natural colors you should use; the more opaque it is, the more flashy colors or dark shades, even black, you should use. This is a base that will need to be adjusted day by day.

If you have any questions about choosing a rod, rigs suited to your fishing area, or the type of line (monofilament, braid, fluorocarbon) to use on your reel, do not hesitate to contact us via our website, by phone, or by visiting our Ardent Pêche shop directly.
