The EGI OH TR is a "Tip Run" type squid jig that is particularly well suited for deep fishing or when it is necessary to descend quickly through the water column. It is fitted with a tin weight and the specific shape of its body, along with its various features, allow it to maintain a perfectly stable horizontal position in the water — essential for optimising the capture of cephalopods. Its perfect stability on the drop stems from the design of its body, the choice of the shape of its weight, its hook baskets of unequal sizes, and its small Hydro Fin technology protrusion located at the rear of its body, which also gives it excellent grip in the water by making it less affected by the movements of the line. The EGI OH TR series also features 490Glow technology with eyes that have a phosphorescence wavelength of around 490nm, as well as Warm Jacket technology — a coating designed to reproduce and retain, more durably than traditional coatings, the slight heat variation between the water and the body of a prey that warms up on contact with light, in order to stimulate the predatory instinct of cephalopods.
