The reel: we selected the Shimano Calcutta Conquest 201, a legendary reel known for its robustness, smoothness and comfortable use. Ideal for large lures, this round reel offers an ergonomic grip and reliable mechanics that excel in heavy fishing. Its large line capacity and smoothness make it an essential choice for mastering powerful predators.

The braid: the Xbraid Upgrade X8 in PE3 completes this set. This high-quality braid offers excellent glide, increased abrasion resistance and optimal sensitivity, perfect for demanding fishing in cluttered environments or in pursuit of specimen fish.
