Imitation of the Soldier Beetle, a small terrestrial insect very present along watercourses.
Highly visible and very buoyant, it is a small but effective pattern for prospecting the banks and triggering wild brown trout.
Its bright orange colour also makes it a highly prized imitation for rainbow trout in stillwater reservoirs.
