Designed to imitate the appearance of natural peacock herl, the Semperfli Synthetic Herl 1mm is a synthetic fritz chenille incorporating all the iridescence of real peacock herl: blue, green, copper and golden reflections that vary with the light, just like the natural material.

Description
Peacock herl has long been a highly prized material among fly tyers for its brilliance and light effects. However, due to restrictions related to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species), the Semperfli team has developed a synthetic substitute that is faithful in appearance and effect.
