    The PINTAIL48 was created by JACKSON to meet the demands of tuna anglers in the Mediterranean. Tuna love the PINTAIL48 because its size exactly matches that of their favourite food. A lure of this size — 10cm — was needed, but one that could be cast by powerful rods, the only ones capable of landing tuna weighing over 60kg.

    Description

    Thanks to its density close to that of lead, the PINTAIL48 reaches feeding frenzies without breaking them, even in windy conditions. The PINTAIL48 is used with a fast linear retrieve interspersed with sharp rod tip jerks just below the surface, but when fish are found in the lower water layers you can let it sink to the bottom, where it then works almost like a jig and catches fish at every depth. Due to its wide flanks, it catches sunlight and reflects a maximum of glints, attracting fish from very far away.
