The SLAPHOG is a crayfish imitation with a bulky body featuring paddle tails at the ends of its claws to churn the water and emit subtle vibrations. In addition, the appendages on its flanks remain in constant motion in the water to increase its attractiveness on the retrieve.
Its shape allows it to sink quickly through the water column and offers a substantial mouthful to bass and large perch. We recommend pairing it with a rubber jig, alternating between a straight retrieve and bottom contact. The SLAPHOG also lends itself to a wide range of techniques such as Texas rig or Free Rig.
