Body Wool is a reference material for fly tyers looking for a natural, textured and highly imitative result. Made from 100% natural fibers, this yarn features nuanced and organic shades that faithfully reproduce the appearance of aquatic insects.
Supple and with an ideal diameter, it wraps easily around the hook shank to form even, balanced and very fine bodies. The outer fibers can be extracted with a simple piece of velcro to create a dubbing-like fuzzy effect of the dubbing, adding volume and a micro-animation that is particularly attractive underwater. Each color features a subtle blend of shades that produces natural segmentation without any extra effort.
