Description
The go-to pattern for imitating the caddisfly
The Caddisflies & Sedges category offers a comprehensive selection of patterns designed to faithfully reproduce the biological cycle of the caddisfly, a key insect in the diet of trout in European rivers. This range covers all stages of development, from larvae to emergers through to adults resting on the surface or moving above the water, enabling precise adaptation to the conditions of the moment.
Sedge imitations are particularly effective for surface fishing. Their neat profile, carefully crafted wings, and the use of high-buoyancy materials ensure excellent floatation, even in strong currents. Their stability and good visibility make them easy to track on the drift and especially effective during hatch periods or at dusk, when trout are actively feeding on adult caddisflies.
