Pack premium SAGE R8 Salt 9' line 10 + SAGE Enforcer

Saltwater fly fishing package: SAGE R8 Salt + ENFORCER + RIO Flats Pro

Expertly selected by Ardent Pêche

This premium package was designed and tested by the Ardent Pêche team to meet the demands of tropical saltwater fishing. Each component was chosen to work with the others and perform against powerful species such as permit, tarpon and large striped bass. The goal is clear: a well-matched, high-performing outfit that is ready to fish on the flats or in open water.

A SAGE R8 Salt rod combining power and comfort

The SAGE R8 Salt redefines the standard for powerful saltwater rods. Thanks to R8 technology, it offers exceptional stability during the cast, with a tip that recovers instantly without vibration. That precision delivers tight, fast, fully controlled casts, even into the wind.

Despite its power, it feels surprisingly light in hand, much like a lower-line-weight rod. It loads quickly, reducing the need for false casts and helping you respond fast—a key advantage when targeting moving fish. Its power reserve helps you bring hard-fighting fish under control quickly and land them securely.

SAGE ENFORCER Tempest Blue 9/10 reel, power and exceptional reliability

The ENFORCER reel pairs perfectly with the rod, offering a powerful, smooth drag that can handle the hardest runs. Built for demanding saltwater environments, it features rugged forged-aluminum construction and enhanced corrosion protection.

Its precise drag system adapts to any situation, from hard fights to more delicate fishing. Its generous capacity and large arbor provide fast line retrieval and excellent control over the fish.

RIO Elite Flats Pro fly line for precision and stealth

RIO Elite Flats Pro fly line was developed specifically for tropical conditions. Its taper supports quick casts at short range as well as long, precise presentations. It handles even bulky flies exceptionally well while allowing them to land quietly.

Its DirectCore technology provides direct contact with the fish for immediate hooksets, while the SlickCast coating ensures smooth, lasting line flow, even in hot, salty conditions.

An outfit built for demanding saltwater fishing

This package is ideal for anglers seeking performance and reliability when targeting powerful species. It helps them cast into the wind, maximize casting distance and bring hard-fighting fish under control quickly, while maintaining precision and comfort.
