River fly fishing package: SAGE DART 7′6″ 4-weight + CLICK + RIO Creek

Expertly selected by Ardent Pêche

The Ardent Pêche team designed this package for the demands of small streams and areas with dense cover. Each component was selected to deliver precision, light weight and effectiveness at short range. The outfit lets you fish challenging spots with stealth and control, where accuracy matters more than distance.

SAGE DART rod for pinpoint accuracy at short range

The SAGE DART was developed specifically for tight quarters. Its compact length and moderately fast action let the rod load with very little line out, ideal for short, technical casts.

It excels along banks, beneath vegetation and on small creeks. Its ability to place a fly precisely in tight spaces makes it highly effective for reaching hard-to-access spots. Its light weight and responsiveness provide excellent fishing comfort and precision.

SAGE CLICK 3/4/5 reel, lightweight and simple

The SAGE CLICK reel is a perfect fit for this finesse-focused outfit. Its click-and-pawl system is simple, reliable and lightweight, making it well suited to small-stream fishing.

Its large arbor improves line retrieval and makes it easier to maintain control during a fight. Its minimalist design balances the rod without adding unnecessary weight to the outfit.

RIO Premier Creek fly line for short-range effectiveness

The RIO Creek WF4F is designed specifically for short-range fishing. Its taper loads the rod quickly with little line out, delivering precise, effective casts in tight spaces.

It offers excellent line control and makes discreet presentations easier—essential for fooling wary fish in small waters.

An outfit for delicate, technical fishing

This package is ideal for anglers seeking precision and stealth in tight quarters. It lets you fish small waterways, brushy banks and hard-to-reach spots effectively.
