Description
SAGE PAYLOAD 8’9 9-weight predator fly fishing outfit + SHIFT + RIO Predator
Expertly selected by Ardent Pêche
The Ardent Pêche team developed this outfit for fishing bulky streamers for powerful predatory fish. Each component was chosen to provide maximum power, accuracy, and comfort on forceful casts. The setup is perfectly suited to pike, largemouth bass, and exotic species.
SAGE PAYLOAD rod: power and efficiency
The SAGE PAYLOAD is specially designed to cast bulky flies and heavy rigs. Its powerful blank and fast tip load the rod effectively and propel large streamers or sinking tips with ease.
Its power reserve provides excellent control when fighting fish, even powerful ones. It also helps maintain a stable line path on forceful casts, delivering accuracy and efficiency.
Its compact length improves maneuverability, making it ideal for repeated casts and effective fishing from a boat or the shore.
SAGE SHIFT Platinium 9/10 reel: durability and control
The SAGE SHIFT reel in size 9/10 perfectly balances this powerful setup. Its sealed SCS drag provides reliable, consistent performance during the toughest fights.
Its aluminum construction and large arbor provide fast line retrieval and excellent control during sudden runs.
RIO Elite Predator fly line for casting bulky flies
The RIO Elite Predator is designed to make casting bulky flies easier. Its short, powerful front taper loads the rod quickly and transfers energy effectively, even with flies that are not very aerodynamic.
It excels in difficult conditions, particularly in the wind or with heavy rigs, while maintaining good accuracy.
A setup built for demanding fishing
This outfit is ideal for anglers seeking power and efficiency when fishing streamers. It lets you cast long distances, control the line precisely, and fight powerful fish effectively.
