Expertly selected by Ardent Pêche

The Ardent Pêche team designed this outfit as a reliable, high-performing saltwater setup. Its components were chosen for their durability and effectiveness in saltwater, so you can confidently target striped bass and other coastal predators with excellent performance for the price.

REDINGTON Predator Salt rod: power and durability

The REDINGTON Predator Salt is a rod designed for demanding saltwater conditions. Its fast action and power reserve let you cast bulky flies effectively and maintain control in the wind.

Its high-modulus carbon construction and Nano resin deliver light weight, strength, and durability. The tip recovers quickly, promoting tight loops and high line speed.

It is perfectly suited to striped bass fishing, as well as more powerful species such as permit and tropical predators.

REDINGTON BEHEMOTH Black 7/8 reel: power and dependable control

The BEHEMOTH reel in size 7/8 or 9/10 pairs perfectly with this setup. Its powerful, exceptionally smooth carbon drag can handle hard-fought battles without compromise.

Its large-arbor design retrieves line quickly and helps manage sudden runs. Rugged and reliable, it is equally well suited to saltwater and freshwater use.

RIO Premier Striper fly line, effective in saltwater

The RIO Premier Striper WF8F is specially designed for saltwater fishing. Its short head and front-loaded weight load the rod quickly, making casting easier even in the wind or with bulky flies.

It delivers excellent accuracy at short and medium distances, while its SlickCast coating keeps the line moving smoothly.
