REDINGTON Big Game 9’ 9-weight predator fly fishing outfit + BEHEMOTH + RIO Predator
Expertly selected by Ardent Pêche
The Ardent Pêche team designed this outfit for anglers targeting predatory fish with bulky flies. Each component was selected for power, endurance, and efficiency in both freshwater and saltwater. The setup lets you cast heavy rigs, maintain precise line control, and confidently fight powerful fish.
REDINGTON Big Game rod: power and endurance
The REDINGTON Big Game 9’ 9-weight is a rod designed for demanding fishing. Its fast action and high loading capacity make it easy to cast bulky streamers, poppers, or heavy rigs.
Its high-performance graphite construction and Nano resin deliver strength and durability while keeping the rod relatively light. It generates excellent line speed and maintains accurate casts, even in difficult conditions.
Its power reserve provides excellent control when fighting powerful predatory fish such as pike, largemouth bass, or saltwater species.
REDINGTON BEHEMOTH Black 9/10 reel: power and reliability
The BEHEMOTH reel in size 9/10 is perfectly suited to this setup. Its powerful, smooth carbon drag can handle sudden runs and sustained fights.
Its large-arbor design allows fast line retrieval and excellent backing management. Rugged and reliable, it is suited to both freshwater and saltwater.
RIO Elite Predator fly line makes casting bulky flies easier
The RIO Elite Predator is specially designed for bulky flies. Its short, powerful front taper loads the rod quickly and transfers energy effectively, even with rigs that are not very aerodynamic.
It makes casting in the wind easier while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in any situation.
