Description
THE SPOTTED OR BLACK SUB-MERGER neither floats nor sinks! It stays horizontal just beneath the surface film, avoiding the double-image effect that could alert fish if it floated on the surface. This subtle presentation also makes it hard for the angler to see, and that is precisely what makes it effective. Simply follow the drift of the leader and set the hook as soon as a fish rises along its path. It imitates a failed nymph, a sunken spent fly, or an emerging nymph trapped in the surface film.
